Try a Kayak Day

Ever want to try a kayak but never had the chance? Come to one of our “try a kayak” days! We’ll head out to the Footner Lake dock and have the boats and safety equipment there, ready for you to try. We won’t do anything crazy – no eskimo rolls! – just give you a chance to have a little paddle around the lake. Check back here in spring for a list of dates and more details.

Full Moon Paddling

One major advantage to being this far north is the wonderfully long summer days! You can enjoy the evening sun for hours and the twilight all night long! Why not combine the long days with a full moon paddle? Starting from the beach at Hutch Lake, rent a canoe or kayak and paddle into the wee hours.
